Safety Service Patrol Idea Sharing Network

Session 34: Data Collection

Join us on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, from 1:00–3:00 PM ET for the next session of the SafeHighways.org SSP Idea Sharing Network, where we will focus on the critical topic of Data Collection. From CAD systems and AVL tracking to third-party apps and field devices, patrols across the country are using data in a variety of ways to guide dispatching, measure performance, and improve operations.

This session will highlight effective methods, best practices, and opportunities to strengthen data collection both statewide and nationally. Don’t miss this chance to learn how your peers are leveraging data to enhance Safety Service Patrol performance and outcomes.

We are actively seeking volunteer speakers for this session. If you have a data collection method or best practice for your patrol that you are proud of and would like to share, please reach out to ssp@safehigways.org.
