Session 35: Commercial Vehicles
Join us on Wednesday, March 11 at 1PM EST for an engaging session hosted by the SafeHighways.org SSP Idea Sharing Network focused on Commercial Vehicle Incident Management and the evolving challenges facing Safety Service Patrols. As commercial vehicle traffic grows and incidents become more complex, patrols must be prepared to respond safely and efficiently.
This session will highlight best practices for managing oversize and overweight loads, addressing the recent increase in commercial vehicle incidents, establishing effective detour routes and traffic diversions, and responding to fire-related events. Participants will gain practical insights and peer-driven strategies to strengthen coordination, improve on-scene decision-making, and enhance roadway safety.
